Health care ruling ignores the law
The Supreme Court's latest ruling on the president's interpretation of The Affordable Care Act is absolutely incredible. It does not seem to matter what the law says but rather how it is interpreted by the president.
Given that this law was passed without any legislator reading it, without any opposition party votes, with much arm twisting and effective buying of votes, and with lying to Congress and voters about various aspects of it, one has to wonder what has happened to our country.
It is a mystery why it took 1000-plus pages to say what could have easily been put on one page or less.
How about this: "This law authorizes the president to provide any or all health care services to anyone he deems worthy and at whatever cost he deems appropriate."
That is essentially what we now have until a future Congress and president make the necessary changes to it.
