What if shooter had held a different flag?

What if the alleged shooter that was arrested on charges of the murders in the South Carolina church posted his manifesto and posed with his Glock holding the Stars and Stripes instead of the Stars and Bars?

Would we be calling for the removal of the American flag from all capitol grounds, schools, car decorations, store shelves, etc.?
