Book club to discuss tale of deception

This summer, the Four Seasons Book Club will be discussing a tale of deception.

Clark Rockefeller made international headlines when he kidnapped his daughter and disappeared. Police were stunned to discover that he was an impostor. By bluffing his way into exclusive clubs, communities and financial institutions, Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter went from foreign exchange student to wealthy scion. This self-made con man managed to fool everyone, including his Harvard-educated wife.

"The Man in the Rockefeller Suit: The Astonishing Rise and Spectacular Fall of a Serial Imposter" by Mark Seal is a true-crime book that reads like a fictional thriller.
