Hoffman Estates beer garden opens
Das Bier Garden is now open at the Hoffman Estates Village Green, 5510 Prairie Stone Parkway, near the Sears Centre Arena.
Open daily from noon to 10 p.m., the outdoor Munich-style German beer garden features tables that are shared by patrons. Coolers and picnic baskets are welcomed, though no grilling or outside alcohol is allowed.
Hofbrau beer, wine and traditional Bavarian food of brats, hot dogs and giant fresh-baked soft pretzels are available for purchase.
The business operates out of the village of Hoffman Estates-owned concession building on-site.
