Kirk paying for working with Durbin

The Daily Herald's news article on June 5 sates "Durbin backs Duckworth for Senate." Well Sen. Kirk, did you learn a lesson yet? What lesson is that?

Never trust a Democrat like Durbin for equal treatment.

What am I talking about you ask? Remember in 2014 when I wrote to you and told you that standing by Dick Durbin in his race for the Senate against Jim Oberweis would be your downfall. Republicans will not back you for re-election and would support anyone that would run against you for the Republican nomination. Well, this has not happened officially yet, but it will soon.

I also told you in that letter that Dick Durbin will stab you in the back when the time is right. Guess what? The time is here. We are stuck with him till 2020, and guess what? He backs your opponent Tammy Duckworth, the ideal Democrat nominee for your job - knows nothing, does nothing.

But she is a woman, a vet and earned a Purple Heart, That's all that matters. She never did anything when she worked at the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs and now the same in the U.S. House of Representatives.
