Cary Park District wants your input on new master plan

The Cary Park District is beginning the 2015 comprehensive master plan process. The master plan is a long-term plan outlining improvements to the park district's parks, facilities, recreation programs, and services. It will serve as a road map for the next 10 years ensuring that the district's resources are in line with the current and future needs of its residents and the changing demographics of the community.

Two public input meetings will be held to discuss development of the park district's comprehensive plan.

The meetings will be at 7 p.m. Wednesdays, June 24 and July 1. Both meetings will be held at the Cary Community Center, 255 Briargate Road.

All members of the public are invited to attend. To assist with planning of the meeting, an RSVP is appreciated. Send an email to cmppubliccomments@carypark.com.
