Night life events: Hops on tap at Lombard Ale Fest Saturday
Lombard Ale Fest returns
More than 80 beers from 50 different craft breweries will be on tap when Lombard hosts its second annual craft beer festival from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 13. The fest includes food, music and brewers from across the country including 51st Ward, Allagash, Break Room, Dog Fish, Emmett's, Firestone Walker, Flesk, Left Hand Brewery, Lagunitas and Kona Brewing from Hawaii, as well as local favorites Pollyanna Brewing, Revolution, Solemn Oath and Two Brothers. Kama Bistro's Revolution
Revolution Brewing invades Kama Bistro starting at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 18. Beer pairings will feature Revolution's Fist City, Jukebox Hero, Coup D'Etat, A Little Crazy, Bottom Up Wit and Eugene Porter. They'll complement Kama Bistro's American fare with an Indian flare: lentil crisp nachos with minced lamb; fried chicken drum sticks with spicy Kama ketchup; mahi mahi with black lentils and tomato pulav; tamarind-glazed pork belly with apple chutney; lamb burger with masala fries; and warm dodha fudge with vanilla ice cream. $55 per person.
