Medinah Schools have McFun at the Roselle McDonald's

On Thursday, May 28th, Medinah Schools held a McTeacher's Night at the McDonald's in Roselle on Irving Park Rd. Teachers took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money for the school. The McTeacher jobs included; drive-thru teachers, greeters, teachers cleaning the lobby, front counter teachers, drink teachers, teachers clearing tables, teachers serving ice cream, teachers making smoothies and teachers selling pies. There were even teachers singing for tips and teachers in a giant Pie Costume. McTeachers working included the following: Fasso, Pickrin, Metz, Ohlson, Lahart, Menconi, Spino, Russel, Rovella, Akert, Hahn, Lima, Geiger, Schlueter, Voller, Modini, Connolly, Tanner, Wielgolewski, Witt, Schroll, Czarnecki, Nieves, Williams-Best, Redell and McPrincipal Langietti. Superintendent, Dr. Butts, even came to support Medinah Schools. Medinah McTeachers had it all covered, and the families all had a great time.The School plans to use the money raised to go into a fund to support future programming. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out to support the school. All the kids came to see their teachers work at the Roselle McDonald's. A special appearance by Ronald McDonald made this a very memorable evening. Special thank you goes to The Cooks Night Out Coordinator, Maria Speechio, who organized the entire event.
