Democrat lawmakers not serious about jobs

Are you aware that when your child or grandchild graduates from high school or college, they will have to move out of Illinois to obtain a job?

Today, there are nearly 3.6 million adults in Illinois who are not in the workforce, the highest count ever. In a recent 10-month period, Wisconsin created 31,000 new jobs; Minnesota created 33,200; Iowa 13,700; Missouri 28,300; Indiana 35,300; Ohio 32,600; while Illinois created 500.

Illinois has actually bled jobs in 21 of the last 30 months. The Illinois House of Representatives recently debated legislation that would have dramatically improved job creation in Illinois, but our state representative, Sam Yingling, along with the other union-controlled Democrats in Springfield, voted overwhelmingly to defeat this bill.

Mr. Yingling has his job and recently received a significant pay raise. His salary is now $67,836 per year for a part-time job and he actually receives another $111 for each day he works in Springfield.

Do you get extra pay for the days you actually show up for work?

Sam Yingling has his high-paying job and he could care less about jobs for you and your family.
