Sec. of State office mobile unit to come to Eastside Community Center June 3

Secretary of State Jesse White, in cooperation with Batavia Park District, is offering drivers a chance to renew their driver's license, obtain a duplicate or corrected license or obtain an Illinois identification card.

The mobile unit will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, at the Eastside Community Center, 14 N. Van Buren in Batavia.

A Rules of the Road Review Course will also be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

The review course combines an explanation of safe driving techniques, driving laws and a practice written exam.

"I am pleased to work with the Eastside Community Center - Batavia Park Dist. to bring my office's services directly to the people," said White. "This is another example of how my office continues to use technology as an ally to improve upon the delivery of services to Illinois residents."

An applicant renewing a current Illinois driver's license or identification card need only present a current valid driver's license or identification card. If the applicant is applying for either a duplicate or corrected driver's license or identification card the applicant must present two forms of identification.
