I applaud the Daily Herald for news coverage given to deer tick bites and Lyme disease.
An organism the size of a poppy seed can cause life changing consequences if it goes unchecked.
May is the month designated for the official Fight the Bite.
Mike Jackson's Outdoors article of May 7 and the one submitted by the Lake County Health Department, also May 7, both are excellent.
