Lindenhurst hosts plant exchange May 16
Gardening enthusiasts can share plants, seeds, bulbs, books and more at a plant exchange Saturday, May 16, at Lindenhurst village hall.
Hosted by the Lindenhurst Environmental Commission, the event takes place from 10 a.m. to noon, rain or shine, at the public works garage, 2301 E. Sand Lake Road. Treats will be served.
The commission also offers textile and shoe recycling, and rebates for compost or rain barrels. For information on all programs, email environmentalcommission@lindenhurst.org or call village hall (847) 356-8252.
