Life of Coco Chanel presented May 16

A historical portrayal of fashion designer Coco Chanel, one of the 20th century's most influential women, will be presented from 1-3:30 p.m. at Hoffman Estates Village Hall, 1900 Hassell Road. Annette Baldwin, former fashion director for Marshall Field's, will present the life and experiences of Chanel in the performance sponsored by the Village of Hoffman Estates Celebrations and Sister Cities commissions in conjunction with the Schaumburg Township District Library. The program is free, but a voluntary donation of nonperishable food items or a monetary donation benefiting local food pantries is appreciated.
