Buffalo Grove seeks trustee candidates to fill new mayor's term

Buffalo Grove is seeking applicants to fill the unexpired village trustee term of newly sworn Village President Beverly Sussman.

Candidates possessing skills and experience in community affairs, business administration, organizational leadership and community development are encouraged to apply for the term, which ends April 30, 2017.

Under state law, the appointee must be a U.S. citizen at least 18 years old who's lived in Buffalo Grove for at least the last year. The village board will review candidate applications during the month of June.
