Letter: Unrestricted donations destroy democratic process

Billionaires are flooding our nation with money to determine who will represent the Republican party in the 2016 election.

Sadly, I don't expect those same billionaires to step back and allow the winners in that election to be determined by a free and honest ballot box. The more they invest, the more they will want to determine the outcome.

The Supreme Court's decision on Citizens United is destroying our democratic process.

I wish those Justices who voted for unleashing the flood gates of untraceable and unaccountable money into our elections would look at the damage they have done and find a way to reverse their decision.
