Wauconda students find success at FBLA State Conference

The Wauconda High School FBLA Chapter succeeded again this year at the 66th Annual FBLA State Conference, which took place in Springfield March 27 and 28.

There were more than 65 schools in attendance with approximately 1,200 students competing in more than 68 different events. Wauconda High School had 86 students attend the state conference.

Ninety-three WHS students competed in 51 different events; 66 WHS students achieved Top 10 certificates, 39 students qualified for nationals.

First Place

• Insurance Risk Management: Davis Heck

• Network Design: Brandon Graves, Isiah Galve, Karolina Grzegorczyk

• Public Speaking I: Dan Bulgarelli

• Intro to Business Communications: Tommy O'Brien
