Lake Park 6, Glenbard North 4:

With the tying run at the plate in the bottom of the seventh, Lancers (7-9, 2-6) reliever A.J. Ackerly coaxed the game's final out to preserve the DuPage Valley Conference victory for starter Colin Fowich. Michael Nielsen went 3-for-4 while Joe Kennedy had 2 hits and 2 RBI. Nick Barrett went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI for Glenbard North (12-6, 6-2).

Wheaton North 2, Naperville Central 0:

Zach Colangelo pitched a 3-hitter with 9 strikeouts and no walks as the Falcons (5-13, 1-7) won in the DuPage Valley Conference. Doug Michalak and Erik Mueller drove in Wheaton North's runs in the first and sixth inning. Billy Oliver went 2-for-3 for Naperville Central (9-9, 3-5).

Wheaton Academy 1, Aurora Central 0:

A run in the bottom of the fourth was all Brett Albaugh needed for the Warriors (14-5, 8-2), who held on in the Metro Suburban Conference. Albaugh pitched a 2-hitter and had one of Wheaton Academy's 3 hits.

Glenbard South 4, St. Edward 3:

Kyle Carli's RBI double in the bottom of the sixth inning broke a 3-3 tie for the Raiders (13-5, 8-3) in their Metro Suburban Conference victory. Robbie McGimpsey won in relief while Brian Ashe notched the save with a scoreless seventh.

Fenton 7, IC Catholic Prep 1:

The Bison (10-6, 4-3) notched their second straight win over the Knights behind 2-hit performances by David Alden, Cory Schwarz, Alejandro Orosco and Saul Aguire. Matt Lucas was the complete-game winning pitcher.

Glenbard East 12, West Aurora 2:

The Rams (7-8, 2-8) ended the Upstate Eight Valley game early by scoring 4 runs in the fifth inning. Bryce Roberts went 3-for-4 with 4 RBI. Winning pitcher Michael Sebby, Joey Moore and Bryan Andrews each drove in 2 runs.

Lisle 6, Plano 3:

The Lions (10-9, 6-3) broke open the Interstate Eight Conference game after scoring 5 runs in the fourth inning. Winning pitcher George Swedie went 2-for-4 and Christian Grego drove in 2 runs.

Willowbrook 7, Andrew 6:

The Warriors (15-6) scored 4 runs in the bottom of the seventh to send the game to extra innings, and then won the game in the ninth when Cam Ligocki singled home Cam Zunkel. Matt Pizur went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI. Austin DeBok was the winning pitcher in relief.
