Wintrust hosts 'Women in Transition' seminar for separated, divorced or widowed women

Wintrust will host a free Women in Transition seminar for women who are separated, divorced, or widowed. The event will offer financial, legal and empowerment tools and will be held Tuesday, April 28 at the Highland Park Country Club, 1201 Park Ave., Highland Park. There will be two sessions: A day session from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (including lunch) and an evening session from 6 to 9 p.m. (including dinner).

Times of transition can involve financial and emotional strain; the Women in Transition event supports women during these times and offers strategies for becoming financially and emotionally independent. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with a community of other women in transition; will hear from a panel of seven professionals who have navigated these same issues; and will gain the confidence to make educated life decisions and emerge with a plan for the future.

The presenting event panelists include: Wintrust Wealth Management Financial Consultant Renee S. Cooper; Harrison & Held, LLP Partner Frances H. Krasnow; Kanter Tax & Trust Consulting Inc. President Linda Kanter; Lesser, Lutrey, McGlynn & Howe, LLP Estate Planning Attorney and Partner Jennifer J. Howe; Wintrust Mortgage Residential Mortgage Specialist Susan Seeberg; Baird & Warner Broker Associate Amy Antonacci; and Caralyn Graham, LCPC, Inc. Psychotherapist, Mediator, & Divorce Coach Caralyn Graham.

This free seminar is part of a larger series, held by Wintrust, around the Chicagoland area. Wintrust believes in going above and beyond basic banking solutions to provide resources that will contribute to the area's financial strength. The company works to be a true asset to the communities it serves.
