GOP overstepped bounds with Iran

I totally disagree with Tim Hurley's letter approving of the Republican congressman (47) writing a letter to the Iranian Moolahs re: President Obama's attempt to have a treaty with Iran.

This Congress was also responsible for shutting down the U.S. government costing the taxpayers over $26 million. They should be negotiating with Iran? Congress has overstepped its bounds.

The main focus of this Congress seems to promote the failure of any objectives of President Obama. No to equal pay for women; no to health care for people with pre-existing conditions; no to soldiers benefits; no to jobs bill to fix all our infrastructures (roads, bridges and jobs); no to loaning money to GM.

Should this Congress also write letters to Putin, or Kim Jong Un? The Tea Partyers would have us in another war in days.

This president was elected by the majority of the people to serve them and their needs and their security.

So far, Congress has produced nothing other than no's.

Remember, it was your Republican President Bush (one) who used Noriega's illegal drug money to purchase arms to send to Iran. Arming the enemy of the U. S.? Ollie North would still be serving time in prison, if he wasn't pardoned by President Bush.

Great track record with Iran, I might add.

I think the majority of the U.S. citizens were embarrassed by that letter sent to Iran.

This is not your job or responsibility.
