Learn about Stephen Foster at benefit for Roselle History Museum

Award-winning folk singer and multi-instrumentalist Chris Vallillo presents "Stephen Foster and the Rise of Popular Music" this month in a fundraiser for the Roselle History Museum.

The museum's annual Historical Night begins with a reception featuring Lynfred wine at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at Trinity Family Life Center, 405 S. Rush St., Roselle. The program begins at 8 p.m. During the evening, wine and restaurant certificate combinations will be for sale to benefit the enhancement of museum exhibits.

Tickets are $15 in advance and can be purchased at the Roselle Village Hall, 31 S. Prospect St., or at the Roselle History Museum's office, 39 E. Elm St. Tickets are $18 at the door. Students ages 6 to 12 will be admitted free. For information, contact (630) 351-5300.
