Bensenville government well run

I have lived in Bensenville for well over 65 years and have enjoyed most of them. I am now retired and can more easily look at what is happening in the village I really like.

I attach considerable importance to the coming election as I feel we are heading in the right direction. Luis Tellez is an extremely qualified school administrator, which will help immensely in the communication between our village board and the schools. I understand that he is also a Cub fan, which means he can withstand adversity and come back for more.

Bob Jarecki has had 40 years of experience with the Bensenville Park District and has served for four years on the village board. As you may recall, relations between the village and park district in years past have been rather frosty. He acts as a necessary bridge between the boards. JoEllen Ritter has been both trustee and village clerk and understands the workings of the village much better than most folks.

Add to this our improved bond rating, better transparency, and sound fiscal management - there is no reason I can see to make any changes in a well run village government. Like Tellez, I feel the Cubs, as well as the village, are on the rise.
