Crystal Lake police search for bank robber

The robbery happened at about 4:20 p.m. at Fifth Third Bank, 265 W. Virginia St., police said in a news release.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 37 years old, brown hair and facial stubble, wearing a dark gray baseball-style cap with sunglasses on the visor, a red pullover hooded sweatshirt with a white logo on the front and white stripe on the shoulder, blue denim pants, and white and blue Nike athletic shoes.

Crystal Lake police and the Federal Bureau of Investigations continue to investigate.
