Hoffman Estates celebrates Celtic pride

The sounds of bagpipers filled the Sears Centre Arena on Sunday as Hoffman Estates played host to its fourth annual Northwest Celtic Fest, a celebration of the people and traditions of Brittany, Cornwall, Ireland, Isle of Man, Scotland and Wales.

The daylong event featured live music and entertainment, Celtic cuisine, a Celtic marketplace, games and activities for kids, and Scotch and beer tastings for grown ups.
