Hound Egg Hunt to be Held in Palatine on March 28

Palatine Park District presents the annual Hound Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 27 at 10:00am at Towne Square, 150 W. Palatine Road, Palatine. The event is for dogs and their owners ages 16 and up. This popular event includes two egg hunts, one for small dogs and one for large dogs, along with a vendor area, prizes and giveaways.

The fee is $6 for pre-registration by 4:30pm on March 27, or $8 on the day of the event. The fee includes a souvenir photo with the bunny, eggs filled with treats, a goody bag, and a raffle entry. All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and current rabies tags must be worn in order to participate in the event.

In addition to the egg hunt, dogs and their owners will be given the opportunity to browse the sponsor area. This year's gold level partners include the following businesses, many of whom will be on site for the event: A Closer Bond Dog School, ABC Plumbing, Bentley's Corner Barkery, Berkshire Hathaway-Sue Gould, Best Friends Total Pet Care, Costco Wholesale-Schaumburg, Daily Herald Media Group, Hoffman Estates Animal Hospital, Jewel Osco-(Plum Grove Road, Palatine), Kriser's-For your pet's all-natural life, Loving Care Animal Hospital, Midwest Canine Massage, Structural Balance Holistic Bodywork Studio, and Tailchaser's Incorporated.

Registration can also be completed at Community Center, Birchwood Recreation Center, or Falcon Park Recreation Center. A new household account is required for registration. This process can take up to two business days to complete.
