Citizens for Conservation burn crew recruitment
Citizens for Conservation's (CFC) prescribed burn season begins in the latter half of March. The burns are critical for the health of our ecosystems. CFC's burns are conducted by volunteers who are tough and determined, and many volunteers are needed for this major endeavor.
If you can help, call CFC at (847) 382-7283 to be added to the burn crew list; leave your name, phone number and email address. Volunteers will be contacted by email to learn the best times that they are available.
Prescribed burns are dependent on weather conditions, so days and hours will vary.
