Mary's Mission fundraiser:

Mary's Mission & Shelter Care will host a fundraiser luncheon to honor the birthday of shelter president Mary Lacey on Saturday, March 21. The event begins at noon at Milan Banquet Hall, 651 Lakehurst Road, Waukegan. The donation is $50 per person and tables may be sponsored for $600. Congressman Robert Dold will be one of the keynote speakers. All proceeds from the event will benefit the mission, is a 501c(3) organization, at 642 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., Waukegan. Since 1987, Lacey has cared for the homeless, veterans and underprivileged men, women and children. For more than 28 years, Mary's Mission has served more than 7,000 individuals in Lake County and surrounding areas.
