Experience the different cultures of Schaumburg during A Garden of Diversity

Children will learn the many faces of Schaumburg.

The Schaumburg Park District and School District 54 will host the annual Garden of Diversity 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., April 11 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road. Participants will enjoy face painting, crafts and activities that are related to different cultures.

"Children have a wonderful opportunity to experience different cultures during this event," said Kathleen Benson, Bock Center manager and general program supervisor. "They'll see performances, make crafts and even try different foods."

The event will feature local international food vendors and authentic performances by students and professionals.

Admission is free. Concessions available for an additional charge.
