Chicagoland Showcase this weekend at Hersey High School

More than 30 of the finest show choirs in the Midwest will be competing this weekend at John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights in the 22nd annual Chicagoland Showcase.

On Friday evening, March 6, choirs and middle school groups from throughout the Midwest will compete for the championships in their division. On Saturday, March 7, you can spend part or all of the day enjoying the outstanding vocal and choreography performances of more than 1,000 high school singers and dancers from throughout the country competing for the Grand Champion Trophy.

The high school is at 1900 E. Thomas St. Performances are 4:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday, and 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, with the finals competition starting at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 for each event, or $15 for all day Saturday. Students under 18 with identification and senior citizens are $8 and children under 5 are free. An all weekend pass is $20; $10 for students and seniors.
