Ralphie May, Billy Gardell coming to Genesee Theatre in Waukegan

Advance tickets will be available Tuesday for upcoming performances of two big names in comedy who will be coming to the Genesee Theatre, 203 N. Genesee St., Waukegan.

First up is Ralphie May, the "Too Big to Ignore" performer who appeared on the first season of Last Comic Standing. He combines the topical comedy with a hint of down-home southern flavor while crossing social, cultural and ethnic barriers. He'll perform Saturday, May 16.

Also on tap is Billy Gardell, better known as Chicago police officer Mike Biggs on the CBS hit comedy "Mike & Molly." His stand-up show Friday, June 5, will feature tales of rough childhood, wild adolescence and new family life shared in a grounded, down-to-earth point of view.
