A PNC Bank was robbed Tuesday in Fox Lake. A man entered the bank, 66 E. Grand Ave., about 1:45 p.m., implied he had a gun and demanded money, FBI spokeswoman Joan Hyde said. Full story.

Des Plaines residents speak out about O'Hare Lake plans

Des Plaines residents who live next to the O'Hare Lake office complex are opposing development plans that could include buildings as tall as 165 feet just over their backyard fences. An ambitious development proposal from O'Hare Lake owner Robert Kozonis calls for as many as four 10-story office towers, five 11-story residential towers around Lake Peterson, two 9-story hotel towers facing Devon Avenue, and four levels of retail below the hotels. Wheaton College student accused of recording woman in shower

A Wheaton College student is accused of secretly making recordings of a female student while she showered in a college-owned apartment, officials said Tuesday. Wheaton resident Alexander Lim, 24, has been charged with one count of unauthorized video recording, according to a DuPage County state's attorney's office news release. Full story.

Massage therapist sentenced for assaulting Barrington teen

A Roselle man convicted of sexually assaulting a teenage girl from Barrington was sentenced to 11 years in prison Tuesday. Tory R. Taylor, who turns 37 on Wednesday, was working as a massage therapist at a Barrington salon when he assaulted the teen on Jan. 3, 2014. Full story.
