Pops concert to showcase Jacob H.S. performing groups

Jacobs High School Music Department presents a Pops Concert and Auction at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, in the school's competition gym, 2601 Bunker Hill Road in Algonquin.

Tickets are $5 and $3 for seniors or children, age 5 and older.

This is the only concert that showcases all of the performing music groups at Jacobs.

The event is designed for casual listeners and community members to see the students perform and listen to some popular music.

In addition, the Performing Arts Boosters will hold their annual auction and raffle during the concert. Auction items include: Boulder Ridge golf package, American Girl doll, Chicago Wolves and Chicago White Sox tickets, Lifetime Fitness passes, a signed Chicago Cubs baseball, prom tickets, parking passes, and more.

All proceeds will go directly back to the school's music department.
