Lake Zurich Rotary meeting:

Former Chicago Bear Desmond Clark will speak to the Lake Zurich Rotary Club on Friday, Feb. 20, at 12:15 p.m. in the conference room at the Holiday Inn Express, 197 S. Rand Road, Lake Zurich. Clark's talk, which is entitled "Stand On Your Principles," is an inspirational message that those who excel in spite of those trials and tribulations have a purpose and a plan, backed by passion that is executed through principle. His talk is based on his playing days and other times in his life. Clark, who played for the Bears from 2003 to 2011, is a financial adviser for Wayne Messmer and Associates and founder of a tutoring and mentoring program for boys. He had his own sports radio show and gives inspirational talks throughout the country.
