FullScore orchestra concert:

FullScore Chamber Orchestra, Lake County's only professional chamber ensemble, opens its 2015 season Saturday, Feb. 21, at 7:30 p.m. at Village Church of Gurnee, 1319 N. Hunt Club Road. The theme of this year's Timeless Classics is "Promise of Spring." The concert includes a little known festive overture by Mendelssohn, "Trumpet Overture," and a concerto Grosso for strings by Corelli, featuring principal cellist Lorraine Wallace and concertmaster Cynthia Arden. Rounding out the concert is the popular Beethoven "Pastoral" Symphony No. 6. Tickets are available at the orchestra website, www.fullscore.org, at the door, and from members. The cost is $15 for adults and children 12 and under are free. FullScore Chamber Orchestra is a not-for-profit 501c3 ensemble and accepts donation at the website.
