Buffalo Grove students present winter concert

The community is invited to a winter concert, featuring the combined talents of Buffalo Grove High School's Freshman and Treble Choirs, and the Concert, Symphony, and Chamber Orchestras.

The concert will feature the following works: A combined "Kyrie" by the Choirs and Concert Orchestra; "Palladio" by Karl Jenkins; "Danse Bacchanale" by Saint-Saens; and various others. Debora Utley, director of vocal music, and Elizabeth Bennett, director of orchestras, are the conductors.

It will be held 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10, in the school's Miller Theater, 1100 W. Dundee Road, Buffalo Grove.

Dairy Queen Blizzards will be sold after the performance. The concert is free and open to the public.
