Schaumburg seeks entries for art shows

The village of Schaumburg is currently seeking artist entries for the 2015 Prairie Plein Air Competition and Show and the 28th annual Prairie Arts Festival.

The Plein Air Competition seeks original paintings or drawings created outdoors depicting any location within the village of Schaumburg. Submitted works will be exhibited in conjunction with the Prairie Arts Festival and throughout the month of June. Entries are due by Friday, April 10. The village also is seeking artist entries to be displayed at the Prairie Arts Festival May 23 and 24. Artist applications are due online or postmarked by Friday, March 6. For an application and information, visit ci.schaumburg.il.us/PCA/art/Pages/default.aspx.
