Bradley player arrested on misdemeanor charges at strip club

PEORIA, Ill. (AP) - Bradley University basketball player Warren Jones has been arrested at a Peoria strip club on misdemeanor charges of obstruction of identification and criminal trespass.

The Peoria Journal Star ( http://bit.ly/1zFqc7H ) reports that the 20-year-old Jones was arrested at an adult establishment in Peoria called Big Al's early Thursday and booked into the Peoria County Jail. The jail reports that he was released a few hours later after posting $160. Fellow team member Ka'Darryl Bell was issued a citation.

In a statement, team head coach Geno Ford called the students' actions "unacceptable." He said the school will follow disciplinary procedures but did not elaborate.

Jones is the team's leading scorer, averaging 13.9 points a game.
