Music notes: Pop-punk Masked Intruder plays Lombard's Brauerhouse

<b>Masked music</b>

Wisconsin pop-punk band Masked Intruder will break-and-enter its way into the suburbs this weekend to headline a show in Lombard. The band's latest record, "M.I.," was co-produced by Matt Allison, who has helped local bands like the Smoking Popes deliver similarly hook-laden punk rock. <b>9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, at Brauerhouse, 1000 N. <b>Local rockers</b>

Suburban cover band 314 on Main Street delivers high-energy punk and alternative classics with some original tunes mixed in. <b>Memory lane</b>

Remember "More Than Words," the acoustic ballad from hard-rock band Extreme? It was a gigantic hit for the band, and its video played virtually nonstop on MTV. (Remember MTV??) The album the song appeared on, "Extreme II: Pornograffitti," turns 25 this year, and the band is celebrating with a deluxe reissue and a "Pornograffitti"-themed tour that makes a stop in Chicago next week. <b>9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, at House of Blues, 329 N.
