The Cuban people won't benefit

President Obama wants to normalizing our relationship with Cuba. Is he not aware that Cuba is a supplier of weapons to North Korea or that its supporters are Venezuela and Russia? Is he ignoring that Cuba is a Communist state with endless human rights violations? The Castros incarcerate hundreds of protesters every week. All these protesters want is freedom plus the ability to elect a government. The two Castros have never been elected.

Cuba's economy is in shambles, and it's an opportune time to force them to bring democracy to the country and freedom to its people. But, as usual, Mr. Obama doesn't negotiate, he just gives them whatever they want. Instead of helping the people, he gives Raul Castro a lifeline.

Does he really not know that if he opens trade with Cuba, the money will not help the people, it will go directly to Raul Castro and the human rights violations will continue? This is another missed opportunity. Why would he do this?
