Support the campaign to stop ISIS

The hostage incident that occurred in Australia and the massacre of schoolchildren in Peshawar, Pakistan, signal a trend toward radicalization in Muslim youth around the world. Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association USA strongly condemn any act that even gravitates toward violence.

To address this global issue, AMYA recently held an event in New York where it addressed delegations of many countries to the United Nations on the topic of Islamic solutions for Muslim youth radicalization. We have also since kicked off a nationwide campaign called "Stop the CrISIS," which features lectures in university campuses, high schools, libraries and other venues across the country to open dialogue and educate our nation on the understanding of the fundamental concepts of Islam.

The hostage situation in Australia and massacre in Pakistan are not only evidence, but substantiate a global need to increase this education. We encourage and welcome all peace-loving nations, communities, and people to join us in this effort.
