Prospect Hts. police not soliciting funds, city says

The Prospect Heights Police Department has received calls from residents that the Metopolitan Association of Police is soliciting for funds in the city, the department said in a news release. The solicitation has no connection to the police department or to the Prospect Heights Police Association, a not-for-profit group which was formed to support law enforcement officers and their families during times of crisis, and to help the less fortunate in the city, the release said. The Prospect Heights Police Association does not participate in broad-based telephone solicitations. Anyone with questions can call the police desk at (847) 398-5511.
