Learn outdoors skills through Lake Co. program

You can learn and develop outdoor tracking and observation abilities in a Jan. 25 program at the Lakewood Forest Preserve near Wauconda.

Dubbed "Outdoor Skills," the program is set for 9 a.m. at the preserve, which is on Route 176 at Fairfield Road. The activity is open to adults and families with kids 10 or older.

Admission is $8 for Lake County residents and $10 for anyone else. To register, visit lcfpd.org or call (847) 968-3321.
