Laws should apply the same for all
I am the fourth of six generations of European-American citizens and still have a lot to learn about our great country. Here are just two things I don't get:
First, why in 2014 do we have laws written just for European-Americans and laws for non-European-Americans? Second, why is it racial profiling out on the street but it is "special training" in the classroom?
I think the system would work better and cost a lot less if we could have laws that cover one nation for all. I think that's what makes up a great country, but I might be wrong or a racist. Should we ask our commander-in-chief which of the two types of law he goes by?
Take from this letter what you want, but for me, I will always stand up for one nation, one law for all. But you don't have to believe or trust in the same as I do. That is your right in a free country.
