Santa vsits Des Plaines preschool

Santa Claus visited the Des Plaines Park District Creative Corners preschool children on Wednesday and Thursday Dec. 17 and 18. They each took a turn sitting on Santa's lap and let him know just what they wanted for Christmas.

Santa asked each child if they were going to leave him cookies and milk on Christmas Eve, most said yes.

The 4-year-olds also presented their annual "Twas the Night Before Christmas" production. The show was a big hit on both days and was well attended by family members.

Registration for the 2014-15 Creative Corners school year begins on Monday, March 16. Creative Corners preschool offers classes for 3-year-olds and classes for 4- and and 5-year-olds. Each class meets twice a week, Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, with the option of adding Friday. Lunch Bunch, an afternoon preschool class for children ages 3 to 5 years, is available Monday through Thursday from noon to 2 pm.
