Update: It will take weeks to determine cause of death of Blackhawks staffer

No autopsy has been scheduled, but officials have requested toxicology tests be taken on Clint Reif, the assistant equipment manager for the Chicago Blackhawks, who died in his Lombard home Sunday morning, a spokesman for the DuPage County Coroner's office said Monday.

Members of the Lombard police and fire departments found Reif, 34, unresponsive in his home and pronounced him dead at 8:32 a.m., according to a news release from the coroner's office. The office said it is investigating the death, along with Lombard police.

The spokesman for coroner's office said it would take between three and four weeks for a cause of death to be determined.

Reif is survived by his wife and four children. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 3 to 9 p.m. at Steuerle Funeral Home in Villa Park.
