Lakemoor special finance district meetings:
The joint review boards for two proposed special financing districts in Lakemoor will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, in the meeting room at the Lakemoor police department building, 27901 W. Concrete Drive. Both meetings involving proposed tax increment financing districts at Route 120/12 intersection and surrounding areas. The meetings will include an introduction of the representatives, selection of a public member and a chairman, a review of the draft TIF district ordinances and questions and comments. The districts are intended to promote development while raising funds for roads, sewers and other public improvements. Visit www.lakemoor.net for maps and other information.
