1. Community colleges are looking for ways to buck a decline in enrollment - down 14,000 students in Illinois this fall alone - and the experience of College of DuPage, whose enrollment is rising, might offer some clues.

3. A woman was stabbed Saturday as she jogged through a Palatine-area forest preserve. Police do not believe the stabbing is connected with other recent attacks on Northwest suburban jogging trails.

4. A St. Charles man charged with driving under the influence of drugs after a crash that killed a 65-year-old woman is being held in the Kane County jail on $1 million bail. Joshua Spudich, 23, is also accused of driving with a revoked license.

5. Buffalo Grove voters could be asked to weigh in on a proposal for a huge "downtown" development on the site of the Buffalo Grove Golf Course and municipal campus. Village trustees could decide Monday night to place an advisory referendum on the April 7 election.

6. A pair of Naperville City Council members say they're confident they'll be able to retain their seats despite being behind on utility payments. Council members Joseph McElroy and David Wentz were found to have been behind on utility payments during the past two years.

7. Elgin could become the first town in the suburbs - and perhaps the country - to require drivers for ride-share companies like Uber to carry commercial vehicle liability insurance, just like taxi companies. Uber thinks it's a bad idea.

8. A medical clinic in Arlington Heights went into a brief lockdown Friday after a patient who had recently been in Africa walked in complaining of flu-like symptoms.

9. Two Aurora teens charged in connection with a shooting last week on the city's west side were with two different groups of men that had planned on robbing each other of marijuana and money, police said Friday.

10. Draped in his Superman cape, 4-year-old Bennett Vulykh of Buffalo Grove loves to take on the role of his favorite superhero, but now he's looking for a hero of his own. Bennett was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in May 2013, and finding a matching bone marrow donor could be the chance for a cure for Bennett and thousands of others with blood cancer.
