Who cares what party is in power?

I love to laugh, and nothing was funnier than the political opinions expressed by Alexander Lee of West Chicago.

First off, Congress has had a Republican majority for the past six years or longer. The Senate possessed a Democratic majority.

Second, the Affordable Care Act is based on a health plan that Mitt Romney implemented in Massachusetts when he was governor. Apparently, you want your tax money to pay for emergency room visits of people unable to pay for medical care. You do realize that the uninsured bills aren't just written off the books?

Illegal immigrants cannot hold any job that would affect you. They also cannot apply for social services because they are here illegally. I doubt an immigrant would affect your job prospects unless they are well educated and probably came to this country on a work visa.

Are you aware that the GOP, Blue Dog Democrats and their corporate cronies misused a loophole in the NAFTA bill, allowing outsourcing of our manufacturing and customer service jobs overseas? This little get-rich scheme dried up towns, causing loss of jobs for people and paying your own way through college nearly impossible for many. This scheme was useless for if no one has a job to buy products that are being made at a lower cost; what good is it? BTW, Obama closed that loophole.

You also seem to have forgotten that the GOP shut down our government like spoiled children over the debt ceiling which they raised 49 times for Reagan and American citizens suffered for this childish behavior.

Who cares what party is in power, just focus on the little guy. Corporations are not individuals, period.
