Two-party system has run its course

The elections are behind us for better or for worse. The campaign ads and debates were nasty and downright disrespectful. Many of the people who ran for office and incumbents too were accusing each other of dishonesty. So, we the voters probably select our party's candidate, or the one we think lies the least. That's not the way to run a country!

There should be authorities who know all facts/truths that would be published in the papers or broadcast on TV and radio stations following the debates to inform the voters of the true facts. Then we could make a much better decision for the good of our state or country.

The two- or three-party system we currently have - Democrats, Republicans and Tea Party - should be increased to more choices and ideas. What we have is not getting the states or country anywhere. Deciding just between Democrats or Republicans as we have known for decades is not enough. Whoever is in office gets the blame for everything. Doesn't matter if the GOP or the Democrats hold office - it is just not a way to go ahead.

I am for term limits for any office except the Supreme Court.
