Friends of the Bartlett Library to host December Book Sale

Calling all bargain hunters, book lovers, movie buffs and music fans…Take advantage of the Friends of the Bartlett Public Library's Book Sale on Friday, December 5 from noon - 4 p.m. and on Saturday, December 6 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Hundreds of gently used books, movies on DVD and VHS, and music CDs and cassettes will be available for purchase at bargain prices. The Book Sale is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Friends of the Bartlett Library, and proceeds help to support beneficial programs, special projects and the Library's popular summer concert series, Fravinia.

The Bartlett Public Library also welcomes community members to support the Friends of the Library. Friends help with sorting, shelving and pricing donations for the Book Sale and offer assistance to the group's ongoing efforts to support the Library, including the perpetual book sale, throughout the year. The Library would not be able to offer the variety of programs, services and materials to the community without the Friends of the Library's support and assistance. Applications are available in the Bartlett Public Library or at www.bartlettlibrary.org by clicking on the "Support" icon. For more information, contact Mary Bavido at mbavido@bartlettlibrary.org or call 630-837-2855.
