Knights of Columbus host Breakfast with Santa Dec. 18

The local Knights of Columbus council will host a "Breakfast with Santa" from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, Dec. 18.

It's that time of the year again, and the Jolly Old Elf will be making his annual appearance at the Fr. McCormick Council Knights of Columbus monthly breakfast in the St. Thomas the Apostle Church Parish Community Center, Terra Cotta and Oak Street in Crystal Lake.

All are invited to stop in with the little ones and watch their eyes light up with glee as they tell Santa what they want and how so very, very good they have been all year! All children between newborn and 95 will get some treats and a free picture with Santa. Pictures will be available immediately as long as the elves and the computer are in a good mood!

The Knights will be serving our regular "yellow" full menu, made to order breakfast. This includes your choice of one of eight different omelets, Belgium waffle, special pancakes or French toast with choice of side meats, hash browns and toast. They also offer a "blue" menu of eggs any style, choice of meats, hash browns and toast or pancakes. There is a senior discount and a special family rate of parents and their younger children.

All proceeds distributed to local charities!
